Important Announcement About Students’ YouTube Accounts (Including Instructions!)

YouTube LogoAttention Elementary & Middle School Teachers: Albemarle County Public Schools has provided streaming video content and video management through YouTube to all students for a number of years as a component of our G Suite for Education. During our annual Terms of Service review, the Department of Learning Engineering, Access, and Design (LEAD) identified the need to remove access to certain features in YouTube for all elementary and middle school students. As a result, after Spring Break, elementary and middle school students will no longer be able to access the videos they have uploaded to their channel or the playlists associated with their account.

Students who wish to keep the content they have uploaded to YouTube will need to migrate their videos prior to March 30, 2018, using these instructions: How to download your YouTube videos »
