Interpretation/Translation Training – September 20 or 21

TranslateThe ESOL Office is offering its annual Interpretation/Translation Training to all teachers, teaching assistants, office associates, and any other school personnel who interpret in another language as part of their job duties. Past participants have reported that the brief training enhanced their skills in communicating with families. There are three options for this training:

  1. Wednesday, September 20, 9 to 10:30 a.m.
  2. Thursday, September 21, 2:15 to 3:45 p.m.
  3. Thursday, September 21, 4:15 to 5:45 p.m.

All sessions will be held in the ESOL Office on the 3rd floor of the Northside Library. Participants should RSVP to Elaine Cecelski at ececelski@k12albemarle.org.

Note: If there are a number of interested employees at one school, the ESOL Office will be glad to schedule an on-site training session at your convenience this fall.
