A note from Superintendent Moran: Jeff Richardson is the new county executive for Albemarle County. He’s excited to get to know our school communities and is a school supporter who values that the quality of life in a community is grounded in the quality of schools. He recently said to me, “Everywhere I go, I hear great comments about our schools.” He and I recently ran into Meg Franco from Meriwether Lewis Elementary, and he immediately signed up for next year’s Toy Lift bucket ride that she coordinates and to come read soon to her kindergartners. I loved that!
