Summer Pay Reminders

Payroll

Throughout the summer, just like during the school year, all “regular” employees are paid at the end of each month, regardless of the type of work performed. (Any ACPS employee who uses Kronos is a “regular” employee.)

Payment for extra work will be deposited separately from the July and August direct deposits for your regular monthly salary.

As always, if you have questions about your timecard, please reach out to your supervisor first, then timekeeper if needed, before approving your time in Kronos. A correct timecard generates a correct paycheck. Payroll questions may be directed to payroll@albemarle.org.

All employees are paid according to the 2020 Payroll Deadline Calendar. June and July are represented below.

Extra or Summer Work Performed by Regular Employees:

  • Paychecks for work performed (and recorded in Kronos) June 13 – July 10 will be issued on July 31.
  • Paychecks for work performed (and recorded in Kronos) July 11 – August 7 will be issued on August 31.

Work Performed by Temporary or Substitute Employees:

  • Paychecks for work performed (and submitted by timekeeper) June 13-26 will be issued on July 15.
  • Paychecks for work performed (and submitted by timekeeper) June 27 – July 10 will be issued on July 31.
  • Paychecks for work performed (and submitted by timekeeper) July 11-24 will be issued on August 14.
  • Paychecks for work performed (and submitted by timekeeper) July 25 – August 7 will be issued on August 31.
