Middle and high school teachers are invited to apply to participate in a one-week workshop, funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, on school desegregation in Virginia and the historic Brown v. Board of Education decision. During this workshop, to be held in late July 2015 in Richmond, Virginia, teachers will interact with leading scholars in the field, visit historic sites and archives related to school desegregation in Virginia, and discuss curricular and instructional strategies related to teaching this subject.
