2019 MAPP2Health Report

Thomas Jefferson Health District

The MAPP Core Group (Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, Thomas Jefferson Health District, UVA Department of Public Health Sciences, and UVA Health) presents the 2019 MAPP2Health Report. The report builds on the work of the 2016 MAPP (Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships) process and focuses on health equity across the district-wide priorities identified in earlier MAPP reports to promote healthy eating and active living, address mental health and substance use, reduce health disparities and improve access to care, and foster a healthy and connected community for all ages.

Past MAPP reports may be viewed on the Virginia Department of Health’s Thomas Jefferson Health District site.

Did you know, though, that the School Board reduced the annual tuition from half of the local cost to $1,000 per pupil? Policy JEC, School Admission, reflects this change and states that the Superintendent will set the tuition each academic year.
