2024 Charlottesville Civil Rights Tour (All Expenses Paid) – Apply by March 1
The Memory Project at the Karsh Institute of Democracy welcomes applications from teachers and educators for the 2024 Charlottesville Civil Rights Tour. All expenses will be paid for sponsored travelers! The tour will depart on June 22, 2024, and return on June 28, 2024. Applications will be accepted until March 1, 2024. ACPS is now accepting applications for the 2024-25 school year for Novice Teacher Instructional Coach and Instructional Coach positions. Internal and external candidates (including former ACPS instructional coaches) are welcome to apply for one or both positions. Instructional coaching experience is preferred for the Novice Teacher Instructional Coach position, and a micro-credential or certification in culturally responsive teaching is preferred for both positions. Rosetta Stone for Educators
Interested in learning another language to better communicate with our students and families or to further your own personal growth? The spring semester of Rosetta Stone is now open for enrollment for any interested ACPS staff! This online language course allows participants to participate independently and at their own pace. Most educators choose to learn Spanish, but other languages are available in the program. Click here to register through the Professional Learning Management System (PLMS).
