On Monday, January 20, Woodbrook Elementary will host the 6th annual “Walk a Mile for Martin” Event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend this special event, which recognizes and celebrates the leadership, courage and sacrifices made by people such as Martin Luther King, Jr., during the Civil Rights Era.

The event is open to people of all ages. Attendees are encouraged to walk or run for their own personal cause as we honor and embody the spirit of sacrifice and those who fought for our freedoms.
