Dan Redding was appointed Director of Human Resources for Albemarle County Public Schools on October 1. In this new role for the division, Dan’s immediate priority is the successful completion of a new design for the human resources function. He describes the goal as providing all employees with a service center model that will be aware of and responsive to employee needs and voice. Another key focus is the development of strategies and practices that will develop the full professional potential of employees while ensuring that the school division can attract and retain highly-qualified faculty and classified staff who are representative of the strengths and capabilities that diversity brings to school communities.
