Are you looking for a different type of professional learning experience? Would you enjoy trying new instructional strategies in an exciting multi-age learning environment? If so, please join Learning Technology Integrators (LTIs), Instructional Coaches, and Talent Development Resource Teachers for Virtual CoderDojo 2020.

CoderDojo provides elementary students from Albemarle County Public Schools with opportunities for creativity, innovation and fun. It is the perfect environment for expressing your creativity as a teacher and exploring best practices in a virtual setting. Elementary students will have access to a variety of coding opportunities through project-based and student-centered learning experiences. The curriculum at CoderDojo is aligned with the Virginia State Standards in Computer Science and leverages the specific software tools available to ACPS learners.  

Dates:
Week One: July 13-17 (times will vary)
Week Two: July 20-24 (times will vary)

Fellowship orientation will be hosted virtually for all participants at a day and time to be determined.

Compensation: Participating fellows will receive a $300 stipend and 20 recertification points per week.
