County of Albemarle employees can access their W-2 (Wage and Tax Statement) Form for 2019 online through Greenshades. A paper copy will be issued by January 31 to employees who have not accessed their W-2 Form electronically.

United Way Tax Prep Assistance

The United Way of Greater Charlottesville is offering tax assistance for the 2019 tax season. Cville Tax Aid provides free tax preparation assistance and promotes the use of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and other credits for eligible taxpayers. If your household makes less than $56,000 a year, you qualify for free tax filing with an IRS-certified tax preparer. Make your appointment today to have your taxes done for free by a trained professional.
