Dear Educators and Administrators,

As we start this wonderful New Year filled with hope and promise, we feel a deep sense of awe and gratitude for your extraordinary work and dedication during this unprecedented time of teaching and learning. We are thinking of you, your students, and your school communities, and hope this finds you safe and well.

While currently The Paramount cannot welcome our school communities in person to experience live arts education performances, we hold steadfast to our mission and shared belief in the important role the arts play in our lives. Committed to keeping the arts and magic alive in the hearts and minds of our school age audience members through high quality and accessible arts education experiences, we are excited to introduce and share with you this collection of The Paramount’s Arts Education Virtual Resources. These resources feature artistic and educational innovations of some of our beloved artists and partner organizations who have graced our very own stage. They will “virtually” open doors to experiencing music, theater, dance, and more, including opportunities for live engagement with artists through Q&A’s and workshops while they are unable to happen on stage around the globe. We hope these resources will serve to enhance and enrich classroom learning, whether remote or in-person, in meaningful and accessible ways; and that they will bring joy, inspiration, curiosity, and hope to all who participate. We invite you to explore, engage, and enjoy these arts education experiences with your students, and to please share with your grade level colleagues and school communities at large.

As we continue to introduce new and relevant opportunities for bringing the arts into the lives of our school age audience members during this time we cannot physically gather, we would love to hear from you! Please share with us your thoughts and ideas, needs, hopes, and dreams, and those of your students too!

We know that when students physically enter this historic Theater, for many it is their first exposure to live theater; a powerful human experience that can be life changing and it is one they all deserve to know. Once this intermission is over, we will look forward to welcoming all of our school communities back to experience TOGETHER the transformative power of the arts!
