ACPS Human Resources is excited to fund three educators (who will join one administrator) to attend the Center for Black Educator Development’s 8th annual Black Men in Education Convening, Thursday-Saturday, November 21-23, in Philadelphia. Registration, travel, meals and lodging will be paid for by ACPS. There’s still time to apply! If you are interested in applying to be one of the three sponsored educators who will accompany one administrator, complete our BMEC Request Form by Sunday, June 2:
This opportunity is open to all educators of any race, gender or ethnicity who are working directly with students. This includes all teachers in a licensed role; counselors; interventionists; math, music, art, physical education teachers; speech language pathologists; etc. The chosen participants will be notified by Friday, June 7, and will have the opportunity to share their experiences with ACPS leadership teams.
