The contract for our assessment tool, Illuminate, is up this year for a comprehensive review.

As you likely recall, the closure of schools in the spring led to a cancellation of SOL testing. The state has announced that SOL testing will resume this school year. In tandem with the news release, the VDOE provided school divisions with talking points (Key Messages on 2018-2019 SOL Test Results) about the performance of students and schools on last year’s assessments.
