Additional Day of Holiday Leave Granted to 12-Month Employees

Celebrate 2018In alignment with the state’s holiday schedule, and in concert with local government’s decision, the Albemarle County School Board has granted 12-month employees an additional day of holiday leave on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. All school division offices will close at noon on Friday, December 22, and will reopen for normal business hours on Wednesday, January 3. Best wishes for a happy, healthy, joy-filled holiday!

Get Your Flu Shot HereOnsite flu and Tdap vaccination clinics will be held October 3 – November 20 at 50+ locations. All Albemarle County employees (including part-time and temporary employees, substitutes, interns, and student teachers) and public safety volunteers (Fire Rescue, Police, Sheriff’s Office) are eligible to receive flu and Tdap vaccinations with no out-of-pocket cost, even if you are not covered through the County’s health plan.
