Default Hours for Leave Requests in Kronos

To prevent this from happening in the future, we recently applied a fix in Kronos. Beginning Monday, January 29, 2024 (the first day of the second semester), employees who are classified as exempt will see a default number of hours populate in the “Daily Amount” column or “Length” section of the leave request for each day of leave requested: Continue reading

1095-C Forms Now Available in ADP

IRS Form 1095-C

The 1095-C is a tax form that we are required to issue to certain employees due to Affordable Care Act (ACA) requirements. Think of the 1095-C as a kind of W-2, but for benefits. It details your medical insurance coverage, including coverage for dependents who are covered under our medical plan, and documents the offer of coverage to certain eligible employees who did not elect coverage on the plan.

If you have not elected to receive paperless tax forms in ADP, your 1095-C form will be mailed to you in the next few days. If you have elected paperless forms, you will receive an automated email from ADP when your form is posted. Please follow these Instructions to view your 1095-C form: Continue reading

Human Resources has received several questions recently regarding time recording protocol for non-exempt staff. Please see the following reminders:

  • If an employee is working at more than one location during their shift, the employee is expected to clock in and out from their designated work locations as appropriate.
  • If an employee is working from home, the employee is expected to clock in and out from home at the start and end of their shift. (Prior supervisor approval is required for remote work.) Continue reading

benefitsFOCUS: Your pay statements may look a little different in 2024!

benefitsFOCUS header

In an effort toward business efficiency, we’ve streamlined some behind the scenes benefits coding that will simplify the description of employee premium deductions and employer contributions that you see on your pay statements. These changes apply to medical, dental, and voluntary vision coverage. Starting this week, you will no longer see coding that refers to the name of your plan and tier of coverage. Instead, you will see a simple acknowledgement of the type of coverage you have. Continue reading
