Schoology Maintenance Scheduled for August 8
The Department of Technology has been informed that Schoology will perform systemwide maintenance on Saturday, August 8, from 5:30 to 9:30 a.m. During this window, there will be some site downtime. Please adjust your schedule and planning as necessary.

Teachers may utilize the End-of-Year Best Practices resource to create a reusable copy of all of their course content through the close of business on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Also, students will be able to see current courses until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Continue reading
Summer Professional Development Sessions Are Ready!
This summer, our required professional development (PD) sessions are asynchronous and online. Sessions are housed in Schoology and can be accessed starting Wednesday, July 15. You can click here to sign in to Schoology or click on the Schoology icon on the ACPS Info for Staff page. You will use your ACPS username and password to sign in. (Note: If you have trouble accessing an item in Schoology, consider trying a different browser.)
You will receive 6 recertification points for completing the modules. Documentation of your participation will be done through Schoology and the completion of exit tickets within the sessions. Modules are open for completion from July 15 to August 31. Continue reading

Michael will review recent licensure modifications passed by the Virginia General Assembly (see below). These modifications address the hands-on aspect of CPR for renewal and initial licensure and the status of provisional licenses and renewable licenses that expire June 30, 2020.
