Today the Blue Ridge Health District (BRHD) shared a detailed update with the community regarding its COVID-19 vaccination efforts: BRHD COVID-19 Vaccination Update. We wanted to pass along this information, as well as a link to the new Albemarle County COVID-19 Hub, a data dashboard hosted by the county.

ACPS continues to work in partnership with Albemarle County local government and the BRHD to launch a vaccination clinic reserved for Albemarle County/ACPS employees. We will share details about vaccination and appointment availability in the near future.

One important note: We have been informed that appointments scheduled through the Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS) outside of the Blue Ridge Health District will be canceled, or the person may be refused a vaccine. Please do not schedule appointments outside of our own health district. If you have scheduled a vaccine appointment outside of the BRHD, we suggest that you cancel it.
