As you may recall, in the spring and summer of 2013, we were able to offer a premium holiday to all covered participants in our dental plan. We continue to have exceptional plan claims experience, resulting in a continued surplus of our dental plan reserves. As such, we are very happy to announce another dental plan rate holiday beginning March 2014 and continuing through the end of the current plan year. This means that you will not see a premium deduction beginning this month (February) through August. As a reminder, the new plan year starts October 1, 2014; if you are enrolled in the dental plan at that time, you will see premium deductions start again with your September 2014 paystub.

Please be sure to review the employee deduction section of your paystub to confirm this change to your dental premium deduction. You should still see your level of coverage indicated, with a $0 premium. If you do not see the change to your premium during this time, please contact the payroll department at (434) 296-5857 for assistance.
