The PK-12 Educational Leadership program at Old Dominion University (ODU) offers Master’s (M.S.Ed.) and Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degrees (30 credits) that prepare aspiring leaders for school and division-level administrative positions. The Ph.D. in Education with a Concentration in Educational Leadership (60 credits) prepares educational leaders for professional positions in PK-12 schools, faculty positions in higher education, research positions, and state and national policy making.
The Educational Leadership Program uses a cohort model where participants attend live, online classes in the evening. Students take two courses each semester on the same day (fall, spring and summer) throughout the program. The unique online learning environment enables students and faculty to engage in a class setting that simulates a face-to-face classroom. The program caters to full-time working professionals.
