Expectations for Kronos Usage Over Winter Break

Happy holidays from the Kronos team! Please refer to the following guidelines regarding expectations for reviewing and approving your timecards over the winter break.

 

Timecard review/approval for pay period 12/14 – 12/20

  • Start reviewing your timecard toward the end of the week so that you can approve it before leaving for the break on December 20.
  • Special note for non-exempt employees: Be sure to get any missed punches corrected before you approve.
  • Special note for all employees: If timecard errors don’t get corrected before the weekly sign-off, don’t worry! Your supervisor or timekeeper can use the historical corrections process to make necessary corrections when schools reopen.

Timecard review/approval for pay period 12/21 – 12/27

  • If you are on winter break, you are not expected to approve your timecard for this pay period.
  • If you are working in a non-exempt position during this pay period, you should log your time as normal and follow the normal approval process.

Timecard review/approval for pay period 12/28 – 1/3/2020

  • You will be back at work on January 6 and can review/approve your timecard for this pay period then.
  • If you are working in a non-exempt position during this pay period, you should log your time as normal and follow the normal approval process.
