Rivanna Solid Waste Authority’s (RSWA) 2018 fall household hazardous waste and bulky waste amnesty collection at the Ivy Materials Utilization Center (MUC) begins this Friday and Saturday!

Household Hazardous Waste: (including pesticides and cleaners)

• Friday, September 28, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Saturday, September 29, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bulky Waste Amnesty Days:

• Saturday, October 6, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Furniture/Mattresses
• Saturday, October 13, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Appliances
• Saturday, October 20, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Tires

Amnesty Days are free to residents of Albemarle County, Charlottesville, and Scottsville; however, normal tipping fees will be charged to residents for all non-amnesty items brought on these days.
