Fall 2017 Bulky Waste Amnesty Days

Special collection will be held at the Ivy Materials Utilization Center from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following Saturdays:

  • October 7 – Furniture/Mattresses
  • October 14 – Appliances (refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves, furnaces, water heaters, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, heat pumps, microwaves)
  • October 21 – Tires

HHW collections are free to residents of Albemarle County, Charlottesville, and Scottsville, and available to Nelson County residents who obtain a voucher from Nelson County government. Amnesty Days are free and available only to residents of Albemarle County, Charlottesville, and Scottsville. More information »
