Many indicators of an individual’s future success have been determined by exposure to quality education before the age of 8—mentally, emotionally and socially. During that time, the human brain undergoes rapid development; it’s a period when a child builds cognitive skills, as well as character skills, social-emotional growth, gross-motor skills, and executive functioning. This session will feature an education keynote panel followed by flash talks addressing intergenerational learning, public-private partnerships, and alternative models for education.
