Announcing the Making Connections 2014 Call for Proposals!

Who? All Albemarle County Public Schools Educators (Feel free to share this information with outside educators and community members who would provide quality presentations and workshops.)

What? The Making Connections Conference will include over 100 conversations, presentations and workshops with a menu of choices unparalleled by any other local professional learning endeavor and geared specifically to the work we are engaged in here in Albemarle County Public Schools. There will be opportunities for both formal and informal time together as we explore digital learning, performance-based and alternative assessment, and the Seven Pathways.

When? November 3, 2013, 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Where? Monticello High School

Why? Making Connections is an opportunity for all Albemarle County Public Schools educators to learn from and with each other on this Division-wide Professional Learning Day.

How? Educators like you will offer to facilitate and lead engaging conversations, presentations and workshops to your peers through the Making Connections Call for Proposals. Please take the opportunity to share and reflect on your work with your colleagues. The deadline for proposals is October 13.
