Albemarle County Veterans Affinity Group
The Veterans Affinity Group is a group of Albemarle County and Albemarle County Public Schools employees who are committed to enhancing the work experience of veterans and reservists through networking, resources, and professional development.
In addition to creating connections and an internal support network, the Veterans Affinity Group is interested in supporting various projects, like care packages for deployed family members, Albemarle County’s Veterans Day Celebration event on November 11, and an upcoming 5K to support our region’s military/veteran non-profits.
Please attend the Veteran Benefits Open House on November 13 to learn more about the Veterans Affinity Group or to get involved! You may also email veterans@albemarle.org for more information, or register to attend our upcoming learning opportunity, What in the World Is an Affinity Group?, on September 24, from 1 to 2 p.m. at COB McIntire, Room 246.
