NEA Will Match Donations to Support Member Requests for Project Materials

NEA Foundation LogoThe National Education Association (NEA) Foundation, in partnership with DonorsChoose.org, will match donations to support NEA member requests for classroom materials, up to $250! Learn more about this offer!

Last year, through their partnership with DonorsChoose.org, the NEA matched public donations to support 1,500 member requests for classroom materials, reaching 120,000 public school students. It’s as easy as:

  1. Post a project request on DonorsChoose.org for up to $500 for classroom materials.
  2. Within two weeks, your project will be added to the NEA Foundation’s match offer, making it appear as half-funded and incentivizing donors to support your classroom.
  3. Supporters of public education browse requests and make donations.
  4. The NEA Foundation matches the money raised, up to $250 per request.

The NEA Foundation is a public charity supported by contributions from educators’ dues, corporate sponsors, and others. They support student success by helping public school educators work with key partners to build strong systems of shared responsibility.
