The new Bereavement Notification page has launched! The Human Resources Department will send flowers in memory of a regular County employee’s immediate family member, defined by policy as the employee’s spouse or the employee’s or spouse’s child, parent, sibling, or grandparent.
Notification/requests can be submitted 24 hours/day from any location (login required) by any employee who learns of a death in a County employee’s family. It is not necessary for a supervisor to report this. Submitting a request in a timely manner ensures that we are able to get flowers delivered to the funeral home in time for the service. If notification is not received in time (or per request), flowers will be sent directly to the employee.

You may be asked to log in to the Intranet site by entering your username, password, and possibly your domain.
If you are asked only for your username and password, enter them as follows:
- Username: schls\your username OR albemarle\your username
- Password: your password (the same one you use to sign in to your computer)
If you are asked for your username, password, and domain, enter them as follows:
- Username: your username
- Password: your password (the same one you use to sign in to your computer)
- Domain: schls or albemarle
Click on the OK button and the page should open.
