You’re invited! The finest young singers in Charlottesville City and Albemarle County will be on stage tonight at Monticello High School for an Honors Concert beginning at 5:30 p.m. The performances are open to the public and admission is free. If you’d like to attend but can’t make it to Monticello tonight, you can stream the concert live!
Eighty-five singers from Charlottesville, Albemarle, Monticello and Western Albemarle high schools and the Blue Ridge School will perform in Monticello’s auditorium, and approximately 100 middle school singers will perform in the Monticello Forum.
Guest conductors include Leslie Moruza Dripps, an Albemarle High School alumnus and the executive director of the Richmond City Singers Children’s Choirs, and the Director of Choral Activities for James Madison University, Dr. Jo-Anne van der Vat-Chromy.
