The Jefferson Area Motor Squad is collecting donations for the victims of the recent devastating flooding in West Virginia. Drop-off locations have been established throughout the County to collect supplies. Items will be collected through Thursday, July 7, at which time members from the squad will deliver the aids to West Virginia to be distributed.
Donation boxes will be set up in the following locations until July 7, 2016:
County Office Building – McIntire
401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville – 2nd Floor, immediately in front of elevators
Drop-off hours: 8AM – 5PM, Monday – Friday
County Office Building – 5th Street
1600 5th Street, Charlottesville – Lobby of Police Department and Police Roll Call Room
Drop-off hours: 8AM – 5PM, Monday – Friday
Fire Rescue Department
460 Stagecoach Road, Charlottesville – Lobby
Drop-off hours: 8AM – 5PM, Monday – Friday
Seminole Trail Volunteer Fire Department
3055 Berkmar Drive, Charlottesville – Vestibule
Drop-off hours: 8AM – 8PM, Daily
Hollymead Fire Department
3575 Innovation Drive, Charlottesville – Vestibule
Drop-off hours: 8AM – 5PM, Daily
Items needed include:
- Cleaning supplies and tools
- Toiletries – especially deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brushes
- Rubber gloves
- Work gloves
- Boots
- Baby diapers & wipes
- Shovels
- Pet food
