Human Resources is pleased to announce that we have updated our Workers’ Compensation Panel of Physicians Form to include our new occupational health provider in Charlottesville, Velocity Urgent Care. The current version of the form can also be accessed through our Workers’ Compensation web page.

As a reminder, we have partnered with TeleCompCare, a nurse triage/telemedicine program that offers an innovative solution for injured workers to get immediate, appropriate care when a workplace injury occurs. As always, employees who need to report an injury should begin the process by reporting their injury to their supervisor. The second step involves calling TeleCompCare—available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! A TeleCompCare registered nurse will assess the injury and recommend the appropriate level of care.
