The Opt-In period for the new VRS Hybrid plan is open now through April 30. All current Plan 1 and Plan 2 members, with the exception of those currently in hazardous duty positions, are eligible to opt in to the new plan during this one-time enrollment window. Information sessions are scheduled at various locations. HR staff members will present information about the new VRS Hybrid Plan and answer any questions you may have. If you are not able to attend the department or school information session at your location, you are welcome to attend an information session at another location. Because the decision to opt in or stay where you are is irrevocable once the opt-in window closes, it’s very important that you understand the plan, your options, and how you can compare your retirement benefits under each option so you can make an informed decision.
