Teachers: Are you interested in serving on a product team to vet and finalize field experiences for students in Albemarle County? In alignment with our strategic plan, ACPS will develop and implement a guaranteed viable curriculum. As part of this work, we will also develop and implement a set of guaranteed field experiences to support place-based learning for ACPS students.

We are looking to assemble a diverse team of K-12 teachers from across the division who will collaborate to develop two guaranteed field experiences per grade level. Participants will be invited to attend two meetings this winter. Then, during the summer of 2022, we will design learning plans for each board-approved field experience.
