Required Maintenance for Windows Computers

Windows InterfaceAll staff members using a Windows-based computer will need to have their computer updated by their Client Services Specialist (CSS) prior to the start of next school year.

Teachers: You have the option of scheduling time with your CSS to have your computer updated before the new school year begins, or you may turn in your computer for the summer and have it returned to you during pre-service week. Required Annual TrainingIt’s time once again for Albemarle County’s Online Annual Training (OATs), your yearly review of policies, procedures, and other important information for all Albemarle County Public Schools employees. Please complete this required training by Friday, November 3, 2017.

It takes about 20 minutes to complete the 3-step process: (1) View the 2017-18 OATs presentation; (2) successfully complete a short online quiz; and (3) certify that you have completed the training.

Between August 1 and 18, all Albemarle County employees should access the Open Enrollment system to verify personal and benefits information, make changes to pre-tax medical and dental elections, and enroll in a flexible spending account (FSA/Beneplus).

Computer Update on the Horizon: All Employees Will Need to Back up Their Data!

During this refresh, DART will update your computer operating system (Windows 10 or Apple OSX) and other software on your computer to more current supported versions.
