We are asking all employees to complete the survey by Friday, March 22. We’re aiming for a 100% participation rate! As we shared last week, our 2024 Employee Engagement Survey opens today! Again this year, Albemarle County Public Schools has partnered with Gallup, a global analytics and advice firm, to help us better understand and measure our employee engagement. Today, all non-temporary employees will receive an email directly from Gallup <support@mail.gallup.com> containing a link to participate in their Q12 Employee Engagement Survey. The subject line of the survey invitation will read, “[EXTERNAL]Albemarle County Public Schools Employee Engagement Survey,” and the email will contain a unique survey link that will take you to the secure Gallup website where you can take the survey confidentially. Reminder: Schedule Your Laptop Health Checkup by June 12

Thank you to all employees who have taken the steps to complete a health checkup for your laptop! As we shared in the Compass on April 21, the Department of Technology is performing division-wide health checkups on all staff laptops to ensure that everyone has a safe, reliable laptop that is ready for next school year. If you haven’t yet scheduled your laptop checkup, please reach out to your school or department’s Technology Support Specialist (TSS) by June 12.

Before your appointment, you’ll need to back up the files on your laptop. Check out these helpful directions. If you need assistance backing up your files, contact your school or department’s Learning Technology Integrator (LTI).

Beginning in May, the Department of Technology will be performing health checkups on all staff laptops, division-wide, to ensure that everyone has a safe, reliable and consistent laptop experience. Attention All Employees: Complete the 2022-23 Online Annual Training (OATS) by Jan. 31

Each year, all ACPS employees are required to participate in a review of important policies and procedures. It is imperative that all employees complete this training by January 31, 2023. The 2022-23 Online Annual Training (OATS) is now live in our Professional Learning Management System (PLMS). Remember: When logging in to the PLMS, use your ACPS user name and password (the same credentials you use to sign in to your Outlook email). The OATS course has been assigned to every employee. On your PLMS homepage, you will find the link to the training listed under “Required Courses.” Continue reading

Reminder: Change Your Password by Oct. 14!

The Department of Technology will require all staff and students in grades 3-12 to change their password on or before October 14, 2022. Staff and students who have not changed their password since June 8 will be prompted to do so this Friday. You can manage your ACPS password through our Self Password Reset portal. If you experience technical issues or need assistance, please contact the Service Desk during normal business hours at 434-975-9444.
