Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Announces Free Admission to Samurai Armor Exhibition for Teachers
The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) in Richmond is offering preschool and K-12 teachers (public and private schools) and Commonwealth of Virginia employees free admission to the new exhibition, Samurai Armor from the Collection of Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller. The exhibition is available at VMFA through August 4, 2024. Commonwealth employees and educators should call 804-340-1405 to make their reservations and show their employee IDs or badges at the Visitor Services Desk in the museum when picking up their tickets. One free ticket is available per badge.

The homebound program is once again in need of teachers. Specifically, we are looking for teachers who are interested in supporting high school students. Albemarle High School is in immediate need, but Western Albemarle and Monticello high schools will have increased need in the coming weeks. You must have a current teaching license to be eligible.
