Making Connections 2017: Registration Now Open!

Making Connections 2017Registration for Making Connections 2017 now open! The Making Connections for Equity and Access professional development day will take place Monday, November 6, at multiple school sites throughout the division. Teachers should sign up for one morning session from 8:30 to 11:30 and one afternoon session from 12:30 to 3:30. Lunch will be provided and available for teachers at their morning session. Making Connections 2017Our annual ACPS Making Connections professional development day will be Monday, November 6. Like last year, we will have a variety of presenters in locations across the county. Teachers will sign up for one morning session from 8:30 to 11:30 and one afternoon session from 12:30 to 3:30. Lunch will be provided and available for teachers at their morning session. Are you interested in GIS and GPS applications in your classroom? If so, you are in luck! ACPS is offering a free Level I introductory workshop to occur over two evenings, facilitated by Chris Bunin, a leader in K-12 GIS integration. Teachers who complete this Level I training will be invited to stipend support Level II workshops that will provide opportunities to develop GIS lessons.
