Southern Feeder Elementary School Design Committee Searching for Members

UPDATE! Attention, elementary school teachers: The meeting dates for the Southern Feeder Elementary School Steering Committee have changed due to a conflict with elementary school staff meetings. The steering committee will now meet on Nov. 15, Jan. 31, and March 13. Please apply by November 9 if the new dates work better with your schedule. The Southern Feeder Elementary School Design Committee is looking for ACPS elementary teachers with diverse perspectives to serve on an educator steering committee and provide feedback for the new elementary school design. The committee hopes to have teacher representation from multiple grade levels at elementary schools across the division.

Steering committee members will meet after school three times during the school year and will be compensated $30 per hour for their time. Meetings will be held from 3:15 to 4:45 p.m. at Center I (1180 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville) on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, November 15, 2023
  • Wednesday, January 31, 2024
  • Wednesday, March 13, 2024
