ACPS Educators: The deadline to apply for a 2024-25 Shannon Grant is fast approaching! Be sure to submit your online application by Wednesday, April 17!

The Shannon Foundation is prepared to award Level 1 grants up to $750 to classroom teachers for projects that support original and innovative student activities, and Level 2 grants up to $5,000 to schools for creative projects that enhance student learning across age and grade levels.

Last year, the Shannon Foundation awarded over $24,000 to fund 16 projects created by Albemarle County and Charlottesville City educators. Check out our summer news release to read about the innovative project work your ACPS colleagues are doing this school year with Shannon Grant funding.
