Grant MoneyEvery teacher, at some point in his or her career, is inspired by an idea that will create a unique experience and take learning to a new level in the classroom or expand students’ horizons beyond the classroom walls. Soon after inspiration comes frustration—great ideas usually require money we don’t have in order to become reality. Years ago, rather than give up on my ideas, I decided to try my hand at grant writing and have been pleasantly surprised by my success. All Employees Must Complete 2013 Online Annual Training by November 20

Online TrainingIt’s time once again for Albemarle County’s Online Annual Training (OATs)—a yearly review of policies, procedures, and other important information for all Albemarle County Public Schools employees. Please complete this required training by Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Completion of the training is a three-step process (view the presentation, take a short online quiz, and certify that you have completed the training) and takes about 20 minutes.
