MLK, Jr.As part of their 2014 Community MLK Celebration, the University of Virginia Curry School of Education presents Growing Leaders of Tomorrow: Mindsets, Diversity, and the Dream on Wednesday January 29, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Bavaro Hall, Room 116.

During this session, we will extend discussions about mindsets held during the fall semester. Through his provocative poetry and positive rap, Mr. Omékongo Dibinga will share stories about those who both hindered and fostered his journey into a growth mindset. He then will describe motivational tools that can be used to cultivate growth mindsets among all members of diverse communities. 100 Days of SchoolSnow and cold weather may determine the exact date, but make no mistake that the 100th day of school will happen in February, and Safe Schools/Healthy Students is again providing supplies for Pre-K, kindergarten and first grade students to make a “100th Day Crown!”
