Attention Crozet residents: The public is invited to a community meeting to discuss details of the second phase of the streetscape project that will bring enhancements along Crozet Avenue in downtown Crozet scheduled for Tuesday evening, December 3, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Western Albemarle High School cafeteria. The streetscape project is one of the projects in the Crozet master plan focused on preserving downtown as the focal point and community center of Crozet as well as fostering economic vitality and accentuating historic character. 1st Draft of 2014-15 School Year Calendar Posted for Feedback
The 2014-15 Calendar Development web page has been updated with links to the first draft of the 2014-15 school year calendar and a new survey. We used feedback from your responses to our previous “Calendar Priorities” survey to make changes to the draft in collaboration with staff from Charlottesville City Schools. We had over 1,300 survey responses. Thank you!

Division Selects New Assessment and Data Analysis System
Input from an advisory panel of teachers and instructional leaders representing a broad cross-section of the division’s schools has led to the selection of a new assessment and data analysis system for Albemarle County Public Schools. Digital Wish Offering Monthly Technology Awards
Submit a lesson plans to Digital Wish and become eligible for their monthly technology awards! Each month they post a new piece of technology, such as a video camera, curriculum tools, or a video set, that they award to the teacher who submits the best lesson plan incorporating the prize. Online Grad Program in School Administration & Supervision: Free Info Session Tonight at 7 p.m.
Lead the Charge Toward Digital Age Learning! Jump-start your career as a technology leader by developing the skills to effectively implement instructional technology in your school or district. ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) has partnered with the Johns Hopkins University School of Education to create an online Graduate Certificate Program in School Administration and Supervision, with an emphasis on digital age standards for teaching and learning. The application deadline for this program is December 6, 2013.
