Kronos Training Information

As you are aware, our new time and attendance system (Kronos) will go live in July for ACPS schools and departments. Training is required for all employees so that staff are comfortable with the system and the organization can realize the intended outcomes of this project to include accuracy of pay, ease and efficiency of use, compliance, and process consolidation.

Schoology offers significant advances in ease of use and a broader array of professional capabilities. A quick look at some of the comments from teachers who use this system in various part of the country provides some insight. Summer PD: Register for July Sessions by June 1

PD Opportunities Summer 2019

We have a range of professional development (PD) offerings and opportunities this summer. Similar to previous years, all teachers and administrators will participate in at least 6 hours of professional development over the course of the summer.

Summer PD sessions will run from July 8-18 at Jouett Middle School. Teachers who are unable to attend a session during the July days will attend sessions on August 16 at Henley Middle School. Teachers who have completed the PD requirement in July will not have to report to work on August 16. Continue reading

James Madison University (JMU) will host an interest meeting for its Educational Leadership programs, including its M.Ed. and certificate options, on Wednesday, May 15, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Stone-Robinson Elementary School library.
