K-2 Social Studies Teachers: Our division is collaborating with a JMU elementary social studies methods professor, Alexa Quinn, to study the implementation of our new K-2 inquiry units developed through Reframing the Narrative. As reported in the SOL Data Review we presented to the school board in September, we made progress by improving student achievement in 75% of the categories used to measure our success.
