Mary Baldwin University logo

Mary Baldwin University’s School of Education is here to support you as you strive to begin or complete your journey toward teacher licensure or to add on an additional endorsement or degree. Our Teacher Education Program goes beyond preparing superior teachers. We identify the greatest needs in today’s classrooms and fill the gaps, so well that 77% of our graduates teach in areas with the most critical shortages in Virginia.

Courses are online and asynchronous for the working adult. We also offer a teacher discount, a school division partnership discount, and tuition deferment. (Courses are $250 per credit hour for school divisions in the partnership.)

Graduate classes are seven weeks in length with two terms each fall, spring and summer. Undergraduate classes are one semester in length. Enjoy seamless interaction with your professors and classmates from the comfort of your own home through our online learning platform!
