Northrop Grumman Foundation is on a mission to get kids excited about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), so they’re making five grants of up to $100,000 available to public middle schools for their very own fabulous school lab makeover. The Fab School Labs application window is open through June 12. The winning schools will team up with Fab School Labs contest partner Flinn Scientific, Inc., to design a state-of-the-art lab complete with all of the tools, resources and furnishings needed.
