Young women in their junior or senior year in high school who hold at least a 2.5 GPA are invited to participate in the 2014 STEM Essay Contest, presented by the Virginia Council on Women in collaboration with the Science Museum of Virginia. The awardee will receive a $5,000 scholarship to an institution of higher education. Entries must be received by 9 p.m. on March 30, 2014.
