The National Education Association (NEA) Foundation offers multiple grant opportunities for educators, including Student Achievement Grants and Learning & Leadership Grants. Three grant deadlines are established annually: February 1, June 1, and October 15. Two levels of funding are available: $2,000 and $5,000. Learn about the History of African-Americans at UVA on a guided tour with University Guide Service. The tour will cover the University’s complicated racial legacies of slavery and discrimination. Topics include slavery, integration, and a discussion of the modern racial climate at UVA. The tour group will meet at the Lawn (South) side steps of the Rotunda. Please register by 5 p.m. on Friday, September 7.
