Attention 8th & 9th Grade Teachers: The Virginia General Assembly is accepting applications for Pages/Messengers during the 2015 session. Applicants must be 13 or 14 years of age at the time of election or appointment (first day of session). Students serving as Pages/Messengers play an essential role during our legislative session! This fall, the Imagination Foundation invites the world to participate in our 3rd Annual Global Cardboard Challenge. Inspired by the short film, Caine’s Arcade, the Global Cardboard Challenge is a worldwide celebration of child creativity and the role communities can play in fostering it. This free training empowers adults to protect children and provides tools to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The nationally recognized Stewards of Children program is designed for every adult who is concerned about the safety and well-being of children.
