The mission of the Teacher Summer Reading Project is to diversity book lists and classroom shelves so that all ACPS students see themselves reflected in the literature available in our schools, and so that students continue to be exposed to multiple perspectives.

The Central Office has launched a Who’s Who Directory to aid internal staff in determining whom to contact for what. The directory currently includes 80+ staff members from school division departments. It is searchable and sortable (by employee, department, and job title). The directory includes a picture of each employee, along with a brief description of what each employee does and why you might contact him/her. We hope you find this a helpful resource!
Greetings, Albemarle County Public Schools educators: I am writing to share information about the results from the recent compensation survey that 60% of our teachers completed. I want to thank everyone for taking time to complete the survey. We value our teachers. You have a tremendous responsibility to educate and care for our young people, and you work hard.
