The Department of Technology continues to work to ensure that all teachers, students and families have the tools necessary to support learning. We have collaborated with the Department of Student Learning to provide the following devices and services to students:

• iPads for Grades K-2: Every student in Grades K-2 will be issued an iPad to support virtual learning.
• Laptops for Grades 3, 6 and 9: All students in Grades 3, 6 and 9 will be issued a new laptop.
• Laptop System Updates: Since our ACPS laptops are in the homes of students this summer, we have been unable to reimage them to meet our ACPS security standards. As an alternative, our technology engineers have created a plan to provide system updates to all laptops remotely (for both students and teachers).
• Technology Support: We continue to provide technology support through our ACPS Service Desk and school-based Technology staff.
